At Clarkes, 90% of our jewellery is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, making it highly durable and low-maintenance. Stainless steel resists tarnishing and requires minimal care—perfect for everyday wear.
However, a small selection of our pieces are plated or made with more delicate materials. These items need a bit more attention to maintain their shine and finish.
To keep your jewellery looking its best, we recommend the following care tips:
Store Properly: Keep your pieces in a dry, airtight container or a jewellery box to prevent tarnishing and scratches.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Minimise exposure to perfumes, lotions, and cleaning agents, especially for plated items, as these can wear down finishes and damage gemstones.
Clean Gently: Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild jewellery cleaner to remove buildup and restore shine.
With just a little care, your jewellery will stay beautiful for years to come.
