Returns for items not as described, defective, or incorrect
If you receive an item that is not as described, has a defect, or is the wrong item, please contact our Customer Service team within 30 days of receipt. We’ll arrange a full refund or exchange, and we’ll cover the return postage.
Your statutory rights for faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act are not affected by this policy.
General returns (change of mind)
Changed your mind? No problem. We accept returns within 30 days of receipt for items that are unused and in their original condition.
For website orders, change-of-mind return postage is always the customer’s responsibility. We do not cover return shipping on change-of-mind returns from clarkesjewellery.co.uk.
To begin, email our Customer Service team within this period and we’ll guide you through the process.
Return eligibility
To qualify for a return, items must be:
- Unused and in original or equivalent protective packaging
- Free from signs of wear or damage
(Please note: items that don’t meet these requirements may not be eligible for a refund.)
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll confirm approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving your return and credited to your original payment method.
Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable on change-of-mind returns.
Exchanges
If you’d like to exchange an item for a different size, style, or colour, please contact us. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request depending on availability. If the item isn’t available, we’ll guide you through returning your item for a refund and placing a new order. Change-of-mind exchange returns from the website are also at the customer’s postage cost unless we sent the wrong item.
Non-returnable items
For hygiene and practical reasons, the following cannot be returned:
- Customised or personalised items
- Earrings
- Clearance or final sale items
Damaged or lost orders
If your order arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, please contact us immediately with your order details (and photos if damaged). We’ll resolve the issue promptly and ensure you’re taken care of.
Customer responsibilities
Please ensure return items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit.
